AEC is an agreement made by 10 countries at the time of ASEA Summit in Singapore in 1992 . They agreed to establish a free trade zone in ASEAN within 15 years . AEC implementation agreement will have an impact on many sectors , to technological innovation , to trade and to human resources. 2016 , Indonesia and other Southeast Asian country has entered a period of AEC ( Asean Economic Community ) . AEC era means all economic activities such as export and import of goods , investment , and current free services in ASEAN countries.
